Is The Hiphop Culture and Rap Music Still a Vehicle To Get Rich?

Whassup Peeps?

I was visiting one of my favorite websites, www.CelebrityNetWorth.com, and they've recently compiled a list of "The Richest Rappers In The World 2013". I don't know about you but this is inspiring for people who are serious about being in the music business and business in general.

In the grand scheme of things, the people listed are not the only ones getting paid. New Music By Jay-Z! "Open Letter" to Critics

Whassup Peeps?

I love the way Jay-Z is killin' all the haters with this new song 'Open Letter'. If you haven't heard it, its attached in the link below. Cuba is a beautiful place and why shouldn't we be allowed to go there based on some old rules that were set up during JFK's time? Let that man live! This man and his wife just figured out a way to get over there to experience what life was like in that country. I'm sure anybody could do that if that's what they wanted to do so why all the hatred? Jay and Beyonce, keep killin' 'em.

Traffic, Traffic, and More Traffic! Now it's the RZA's Wikipedia Page

Somebody who uses Wikipedia alot must really like my blog. Last week I found out DJ Premier's Wikipedia page was linked to my blog and now this week I see the RZA's Wikipedia page is linked to it too. Maybe I should check all of the 20 Greatest Producers from that list to see if I have more links.

Here's the link to RZA's Wikipedia page below:

Well now I gotta go and rent the "The Man with The Iron Fists" to show my support of RZA. I started to rent it last week but I opted for Daniel Craig as James Bond in "Skyfall" instead which was an excellent movie by the way!

Does Timbaland Use a Ghost-Producer? Say it Ain't So!!!

I came across this article on NodFactor about super hit-maker Timbaland using a ghost-producer and I just had to read it because I couldn't believe it. How can somebody with such a signature sound NOT make all those beats himself? And where's the proof?

Well Timbaland's friend and the ghost-producer in question, Danja, dispels this myth. Click on the link below to read the article:

HOTNESS: RapBeatCreator.com Listed on DJ Premier's Wikipedia Page!

Whassup Peeps?

I was doing some research on my blog stats and I just found out DJ Premier's Wikipedia page has a direct link to this blog you are now reading. The link is to a post I wrote called, "The Source Magazine Picks 20 Greatest Producers".

Why does that matter you say? Well, in the world of Internet Marketing, links to your site from someone else's site is about the most powerful form of referral traffic you can get which means I'll get more visitors to my blog. And since I'm a huge fan of DJ Premier and his music, it means much more than business.
